Amp/Preamp Asylum Looking for a new Amp or Preamp? If you're after tubes, post over here. |

I have a CA-101 amp and CP-35 preamp both of which I really like. But both have developed problems. The display on the CP-35 preamps flakes out from
time to time. And the CA-101 amp has this problem where the channels will
periodically drop out at low levels. Research on the internet says it is likely the
output relays going bad.I had the repair guy at my local Classe dealer look at the amp and he says he couldn't fix
it and that I will need to send it to Classe. So I called Classe and got the details on how to send things back to them.
Are there any other places here in the ststes that could repair these pieces?
I live in NC. Shipping to Classe up thru Buffalo NY is not going to be cheap.
Considering what I have invested in the 2 pieces I am wondering if it will be worth
trying to get them repaired. But I do really like how they sound. What do you think?
