One of my SS preamps is suddenly not passing any signal.
I am not an electronics person, but I thought maybe a fuse in the unit had blown.

I opened it up just now and there is a Buss 250V AGC 1/4 fuse on a little circuit block where the wall outlet power comes in. If I plug the preamp in without the fuse will that do any damage?

If, with the fuse in place, the pilot light lights, does that likely mean the fuse os okay?
