I listened to many amps when I was looking for a nice integrated. I heard amps from Cambridge's Azur line. I have not heard the CX line. They were good amps, but I found them a bit bright and analytical. I went with the Arcam A19.
I like it for all the reasons that the professional reviewers, such as Alan Sircom, Roy Gregory, Stephen Mejias, WhatHiFi, etc., liked it. There's also favorable reviews from Soundstage Access, Stereotimes, TNT and HiFiPig.
It has a full, lively, balanced sound. Nothing jumps out at you. The build quality and functionality are outstanding. It also has one of the best volume controls I've had the pleasure to use.
Good luck with your amp search.
