Amp/Preamp Asylum Looking for a new Amp or Preamp? If you're after tubes, post over here. |
|
A couple months ago I removed the cover of my VTL 2.5 preamp to replace a couple of the tubes and I left the cover off. I'd forgotten about how dusty it gets around here with doors and windows open, so now I have some dusting to do - inside the preamp.
I know very little about electronics, capacitors, etc. etc., but enough to know that I need to be careful. Can I just unplug the preamp and let it set for, say, 24 hours, and will it then be safe? Or longer?
