I'm always glad to see such good reports from Bryston end users. My 3B-SST sounds/functions as well as it did several years ago. The only time it's been turned-off is when I travel, or test my subwoofer system with the 3B-SST for the main loudspeakers powered-off. I'm from the school of keeping gear powered-on 24/7, so the fact that Bryston power amplifiers tend to run so cool when idle makes it a fine option for those who follow that audiophile path. I also use an older 3B-ST power amplifier for a stereo subwoofer system that provides a stellar bottom end, as well as low-frequency soundstage information for a stereo subwoofer application, IME.
