RE: How to find a low heat output amp

The TRICK is both low temperature AND low weight.

A 300lb amp which runs at a moderate 90f will soon have most of the HOUSE at that temp.

A 'mythical' tube amp with a pair of small tube (12AX7 size) running at 100c and a brace of transformers also running warm to the touch, won't even warm your closet.

In conclusion? A 'D' amp is recommended. Maybe one of the new Emersa line from Emotiva. They use the ASC module from B&O so nobody tried to reinvent the wheel.

Depending on power needed? One of the very inexpensive chip amps. Maybe the Muse?
