I have Class A SET and PP amps. I see heat as a problem only when the amp sits in a rack where there is inadequate ventilation. I use an ugly ordinary low-noise house fan, with a big rheostat to lower the blade speed. Yes, this does transfer the heat to the rheostat, but it sits out in the open.
I also live in Denmark, where peak daily temperature is rarely much higher than the low-80s (deg f).
