Before re-capping.PS Audio Pemier power cord.
My son has a Adcom GFA 5400 power amp that we recently changed out all the important electrolytic caps, binding posts, and fuses on. I realize that it probably doesn't make a whole lot of sense to be putting $$$ into a 20 year old solid state amp, but it's a fun little Dad/Son project so who cares.
Should I also replace the crappy stock power cord as well with a heavier grounded one? If so; Where should I ground it? I've had the PS Audio Premier cord sitting around doing nothing, so I thought.......
I know the more powerful offerings from Adcom came with a 3 prong grounded cord.
Thanks......
