beginner wants amp help!

Hi! I am updating my ancient stereo. I ordered two Bowers and wilkins bookshelf speakers. cm6 S2. sounded great in the store!!

I have an ancient SAE preamp and power amp.

I next plan to buy a new power amp. speakers recommend 30-120 watts. any suggestions? I want the amp to be better than my old SAE rated at 50 watts.

they will be in a room about 13 by 13 feet with 10 foot ceiling, so I do not need deafening amounts of power! I DO want quality, I listen to lots of classical music.

in a perfect world, I would get a McIntosh, but do not want to pay $4500.

any ideas?
