Thanks for the message. As I posted originally, my budget is $700-800 and I am open to used as well as new, although it's easier to find new models than to wait around for a particular used product to show up on the internet.

I should have made clear that I would prefer a true balanced design than simply XLR taps, so thanks for clarifying that. In my limited experience with two different high-end DACs simultaneously connected over both RCA and XLR using the same make and model cables (with different terminations, obviously) into the corresponding inputs on my integrated, I easily can hear the difference between the two inputs. Small sample size I know and very system dependent, but it's worth it to me to pursue an integrated with real balanced inputs if I can find one worth having.
