I know this is predominantly a tube oriented forum but I suspect you guys are my best shot at answering my question. Thanks in advance.
I have managed to troubleshoot and repair a Kyocera R-661 Solid State receiver. I did not have a service manual for the 661 so I was using the one for the R-861 which is pretty much the same except for the output devices. In a moment of stupidity I absentmindedly set the bias current using the 881 numbers, approx 25mA. The 661 uses single matched pair Toshiba 2SA1302/2SC3281 to get 70 WRMS class AB. I'm worried the 25mA might be too low but am not sure. Anyone here able to recommend a good bias current for that pair? Thanks again,
Gary
