Speaking only electrically, make sure the output impedance / input impedance ratio is maybe 1:5 or even 1:10
My Pair of A23 are sitting one each behind my panels. The A23 has a listed 33kohm input impedance which makes it electrically compatible with MANY good to great preamps.
What is the output impedance of the CJ?
