Ok stupid question time. Did you change the tube? I don't think that would blow the fuse. But it sounds like you physically damaged something important.
See if you can physically see any wires charred or burn marks anywhere???? Shorts, arcs, etc.... Post your findings?
Like the other suggestions - you're going to have to have it checked.
