Twice now you've mentioned pushing on the jumpers...

I suggested cleaning the jumpers and jacks in an earlier post. Failing that not helping you've at least identified a spot that directly affects the situation. The jacks or some part of the board immediately at the back of the unit has broken contact and is temporarily fixed when you press on that area. If you cannot find anything yourself and you take it in for service, be sure to tell the tech about pushing the jumpers effect on the situation.

Honestly, you've already found the area that needs attention. Hopefully you can fix it yourself.
