I'm planning to use 2 channels of a 3 channel Proceed HPA 3 amp to drive a pair of KEF LS50s. There will be no signal nor load for the center channel. In the past when I've used the amp for 2 channels, I've connected a center speaker even though there was no signal. IIRC, Madrigal told me their amps are stable even without loads. but that was decades ago so I may be a bit hazy in my recollection. Will implementing my plan harm the amp?
