Anyone own the McIntosh MA7900 integrated amp with built-in DAC?

I realize that McIntosh Labs ownership has changed a few hands over the years but are their products still considered "HI-FI" and how would you describe the "McIntosh sound"?

What has been your experience with this unit and would you recommend it?

Do McIntosh integrated amps (current models) mate well with non-McIntosh gear like analog sources, digital sources and speakers?
