My son has the XPA-5 for his all-Emo setup. It is a great amp for HT. I'll never get another receiver. That amp with a separate processor or just using the line outs from your existing receiver, assuming it has those, is a great approach. BTW, Emotiva has a summer sale happening now. 10% off.
