For starters, your receiver cannot split the pre and power amp sections. That's a problem if you wanted to use it. If, on the other hand, your source drives the mixer then into the receiver, you could use the main outputs of your mixer to drive the amp directly. In which case, you'd need to purchase a couple of inexpensive Phone plug-->RCA adapters.
The Yamaha becomes unnecessary.
