Not sure why you feel compelled to attack one of the truly creative and honest designers in high end audio, but just to get the facts straight, the CS2 integrated is sold with a face plate. You can get it without the face plate for a savings of $375. As for the cost of the face plate, I don't see how he could bring it down by mass producing them, since he hand builds the components himself, on order. It seems to me that ordering more parts than he can use would drive prices in the wrong direction.
Meanwhile, In my experience, Blue Circle gear sounds as good as, or better than, anything else at a given price point, and the company provides excellent service and B.S.-free information.
Rogue may also be great, but your critique is a little out of whack.
