The only remote control failures I've had in decades of high-end audio and home theatre were for my TiVo DVR and an old Philips CD recorder (total P.O.S.). In fact that entire Philips CD recorder crapped out in a month. Replaced with a Pioneer Elite that I still have to this day.
I've had ARC LS16, LS16mkII, LS25mkII, and the VSi60 integrated. No issues at all with those remotes.
What are you doing to abuse your remotes!? ;-)
