Amp/Preamp Asylum Looking for a new Amp or Preamp? If you're after tubes, post over here. |

I have a 19 year old Music Reference RM9mkII and through various moves, cats and shipping for repairs, the transformers have been dinged and scratched over the years. If I ever want to sell the amp, the value will be somewhat reduced unless they're restored.
I contacted a local paint and powder coat company and they wouldn't touch it because they would want to remove the transformer covers which doesn't seem feasible on this amp.
Suggestions or advice or do I just leave well enough alone? Thanks!
