He was involved in both of the above mentioned episodes. In several other cases we did the setups together with the Avantgarde people, and it was their designer, Mathias, who told me not to be afraid to give them plenty of power. We usually used the 150W monoblocks there.
In my personal experience, as one of that brand's user, they sometimes sound too polite with low power amps. Some people might like that sound, but as I mentioned, in my view, they truly open up with more power.
