Amp/Preamp Asylum Looking for a new Amp or Preamp? If you're after tubes, post over here. |

Hi i have a very straight question.
I have noticed that in a normal home situation with not perfect electrical plant ground loops are very common.
If i use XLR connections could i have some benefits in case of ground loops ?
Another thing.
All the chain must be balanced ?
Because my power amp has unbalanced inputs.
Both dac and preamp are balanced but i would like to use the unbalanced outs of the preamp.
Thanks a lot.
Kind regards,
bg
