As long as they are getting proper ventilation as recommended by Sony, the "heating up" is not of consequence.

Replacing capacitors is good to do on 10+ year old amp IF the amp is more valuable than the cost to re-cap.

You wrote "they are working well" so take your time looking for replacements.
