Amp/Preamp Asylum Looking for a new Amp or Preamp? If you're after tubes, post over here. |

Hello.
A noob question: my two amps are Sony TA-55ES that are working well.
However, they are heating up after about 45 mns if i play some classic rock fairly loud, at 50% of volume.
So, do I get them upgraded , and if so, what do I need to get done?
or is it time to get rid of them and look for new amps.
Your answers are appreciated.Thanks.
