Nelson has taken a different approach with his "kitchen table" line.

Both, however, are brilliant in their own right. The SIT-1 is the only single transistor amplifier I know of and has reportedly phenomenal performance within its modest power output using the common First Watt chassis shared by all models.

On the other hand, the Xs300 amps are 600 lb gentle giants to drive the most demanding loads. Heck, the matching preamp weighs 80 lbs!
