My initial impressions resemble yours.I still have the EH tubes, and a set of Siemens waiting on the shelf, but I don't have the pleasure of comparing another good phono stage.
The last, best, phono stage I had was the Rat Shack Silver Wonder.
The T7 stomps that one, easily.
