Okay, my stereo is ancient , so that's that. I can faintly hear my CD on my other channels if it is playing and ?I haven't turned on the new source yet.
I am having other problems such as a really strong hum from my turntable in the a
aux channel which I also need to deal with, which is when I noticed this issue, but I will request help for the phono issue later.
