Roger that! It was my guess as well. Do you have a good mono center image when you listen to a good recording with the music end of the system? Even when I sold HT I found movies had all kinds of dialog level and even in a 5.1 you would need to adjust the center channel between most movies.

Check the link below. You can add a third mono (summed) speaker to a stereo pair. I think an amp w/common ground is required. I would also add a full range center in this type of configuration, not one with a tweeter
