I will qualify its more of a lifestyle change than anything else not to mention the upgrade on WAF - same reason my Maggie 3.6s went down the road.
The reality is that I don't have the time I used to have to listen even with my 2 channel rig as backgound music as opposed to critical listening. The wife's little Yamaha receiver, Monitor Audio bookshelf speakers and Sirius radio get the most airtime in out house now.
A single box solution for as often as I will use it, is the answer for me but not for everyone. I probably could have gone with something less expensive and comparable as to form & function but my audio ego probably got the better of me. Coupled with my dealer giving me a super deal and offering to find me no hassle buyers for my existing components it was the right decision to make, for me.
Is it a forever thing - who knows - but it will work for now, at least when I get the unit, fingers crossed before Xmas.
Maybe if there is a next time or iteration maybe it will be Klipsch speakers with a flea powered amp...
