if you're willing to consider tubes, the Rogue Audio Cronus Magnum ($2400 or something) has almost universal acclaim. The only 'negative' thing I've seen is that the phono section may not be the best ever, compared to some outboard units. The KT120 tubes seem well-liked, and the thing should drive your speakers well ... well, unless they're weird loads, I guess.They also have class-D (switching) amplifier integrateds that are well-regarded. Sphinx at $1500 or something and Pharaoh at $3500 list look excellent too ...
Fun with tubes with the grunt output stage to drive your speakers.
