Wondering if you heard an improvement with these? I changed the 'mains' fuse on the back of my McIntosh C220 to a silver fuse, heard a small but distinct/repeatable increase in ... something good anyway.Changing the internal fuses (3) didn't make a darn bit of difference that I could tell, but I left them in there anyway. The clips were so dang tight I didn't want to risk damage pulling the new ones out!
(Edit: AHA again, I saw your comment about the improvements with the internal fuses on the other thread. Possibly the fuses in the Cronus and C220 serve different functions, so affect the sound differently ...)
