The cases pictured and linked in that post were made by Aluminati~Sound and were $1K per pair, which to me seems quite reasonable. They stopped production for awhile to move on to other projects, like marketing their own Class D amp in equally cool looking aluminum cases (the vendor is a metal fabrication shop).
They are considering another run of the NC400 cases so anyone who is interested should start by looking under the Aluminati~Sound Industry Circle over on Audio Circle, or look up their website, and contact them.
