I have a Luxman R-405 Receiver 80's era with radio station memory problems. I looked around on the internet and found a post that said a memory cap is what I need. The memory will work fine until I turn off the Receiver then it reverts back to 87.50. Does a memory backup cap sound like a likely cause ? Everything else on the receiver works great and it's in excellent condition other than that issue. Also do the values have to match exactly in case I can't find a matching one ? Comments and tips very welcome. Thanks.
