Okay, so I spoke to the man. Bad news is that he sold his business about the same time that the Counterpoint thousand series was introduced, so he had no direct experience with the 1k. On the other hand, I described the two sets of four-pin jumpers and how it appeared that LO was on pins one and two, and that the question was whether or not HO was on pins 2 and 3, or on pins 3 and 4. He replied that HO would almost certainly be on pins 3 and 4. He has more than a bit of experience/knowledge in repairing and building amps, and his further comment was that the chances the two settings would share a pin were slim to none. So, again, FWIW, that's alls I know. Hope this somehow helps.
