RE: Well, ordered the amp.

This is one reason why I often don't reply to these types of threads. (Not just yours.) Sometimes, if the poster seems to have a clue, I might reply with a request for more useful information, or maybe a helpful reply.

You are a special case.

One day, you're asking about a Parasound A23 vs a Burson (I've never heard of Burson) "timekeep".

Then, another day, you're asking about a Parasound A21 vs A23.

Then, another day, you're asking about a cage for a tube amp to keep the cats out*.

You've not posted anything about hearing any of these amps, in or out of your system. Have you heard all of them (especially, in your system)?

And, THEN, upon announcing the tube amp you've purchased, you say that you've also gotten a new source and a new preamp, but you say nothing about what they are.

*"Does the optional tube cage fit over the KT120's? Aren't they tallish tubes? I'll probably ask Mark on Monday but I thought someone here might now. With three cats tube cage is not optional. ".
