I found the original 4BST to be quite harsh and grainy as compared to the
later versions. The SST2 is the best of the lot by far.
Bryston makes very high quality products and they warranty them for 20
years. Even to 2nd and 3rd owners. No other manufacturer I know of does
this.
Bryston amps are particularly good with Magnepans, I have found.
