RE: Nope

I was considering a used Classe CP-800 at one time as it appears to be a versatile piece from a company with a historically good reputation for sonics and value. The only reason I didn't give it a try was I found a good buy on a Pass Labs XP-10.

Classe may still may be a good outfit, but my last Classe piece that I bought was probably a decade ago and it was used when I bought it. I had the CA-100, CA-200, and then the CA-300 which was my last Classe piece. I also had a CP-40 and CP-35 a long time ago.

BUT.... I'd take that older Classe gear over brand new BRYSTON! And that's based on recent Bryston experience. ;-)
