sorry to hear about your, I mean the weather, mishap. The brickwall is a fine device, many people use it. I , myself, use a Richard Gray Power Company (RGPC) line conditioner. I live in the deep South, off of a grid, and is/are subjected to strong thunderstorm(s) most of the year.
The RGPC products were designed w/ this climate in mind.
You will want to seek out a more geographical product for your system/location needs. There are many excellent protectors/conditioners on the market- all have strong/weak points. Find the one that best suits your need. Keep me posted.
