Well written but I disagree that MF is good stuff. I had a 308 cd player for years and never appreciated why my cheap turntable and cartridge sounded so mulch better, It wasnt an improvement over the Cal Icon Mk II I had previously from the early days of cd. Even the use of a Lavry dac didnt help as much as I had hoped. When I needed a repair I was treated with contempt by MF even after I had searched and found an authorized repair facility in the US. I now have an Ayon 07s which in MF's wildest dreams cant even be approached by any MF player/dac.
