I am not too experienced with the equipment so I am not sure if the amp matches the speakers well. The speakers are 88dB I think.

I tried a Goldpoint preamp and I did not like what it did to the sound. I never tried any other preamp in my system as PS Audio PWD has level control. However, Paul of PS Audio used to be against any preamp and then he changed his mind after trying Aesthetix with PWD.

I definitely do not want to do lateral moves. I started thinking of an SET amp.
