Take a look at Channel Islands Audio class D monoblocks - they use Hypex modules that are some of the best ones out there. Hypex also produces NC400 modules for DIY community as well.

These class D modules are not your usual "tripath" amplifiers and should be high on your audition/purchase list. Clear, Crisp, Powerful, Musical.
