I am using the XPA 1's to drive the Magneplanar 1.7's....After adding the 1 ohm attenuators and working for days on room placement they have added
dynamics and clarity to the speakers that sometimes is thrilling. I am using the Emotiva interconnects and the simple 12 gauge speaker cable and will make further changes in increments.....I have only heard the higher end in in audio showrooms so I cannot make comparisons. This is an excellent product as well as being an excellent product for the price....Whether it is at the level of Bryston Parasound or amps costing 4 times the price I could never know. In terms of modest budgets they seem to work beautifully. Hope this helps some one.
