I should have kept that PV10-B with its excellent phono stage, and just had it modified.
It sounded great. The bass was slow and flabby but mods can fix that.
My PV-12 is totally transformed by the modding work of Bob Backert at RHB Sound Dezign, and is the best sounding pre I've ever heard.
