Hi bkmThe BP25 would be a much better buy at the same price even if it’s 10 years older (still has 10 years of warranty), the 25 has balanced and unbalanced inputs and outputs which rules out the BP6 for for your intended application as it is strictly unbalanced.

The BP25 also has a lower noise floor because of the external power supply.
Also keep in mind that the BP25 and the current BP26 are basically the same pre-amp, the benefits in using the MPS-2 over the MPS-1 IMO are negligible.
