about Copland CTA-301 mkII, can it be used with out phono stage tubes ?

i have separate RIAA so no need for Copland's (nice but soft&little noisy back ground) integrated (4x12AX7) RIAA.

I think there wouldn't be problems taking tubes off but what you guys think ?
