I owned a pair of 150 Ms some 5 years ago. I tried everything to help them with the leading edge of the music.- cryoed tubes, balanced cables from a balanced amp/pre/cd player; Stillpoints/Risers on Harmonic Resonance platforms. Alas, no matter what I tried, they were slow off the line. Before I sold them I bought a PS Audio GCA 250 with Stage 2 mod. My die-hard tub-o-holic friends agreed the PS sounded better. Later replaced it with W4S mono-blocks and now their MC 250/500 driving my Maggies 3.5Rs. The only tubes now are the output of my Raysonic 228 and 168 before upgrading to it. IMHO, this is where tubes should be (at the source).
