The best thing to do is read reviews. Assuming that you are looking at 100W per channel, the all tube amp offered by Jolida(1000A, 1000RC) and the 1501RC are very different animals(very different prices as well). I've actually owned the 1501RC. If you are looking for a tube sound, look elsewhere. It was a fairly solid amp, but not real high in the musicality department. I've heard good things about the 1000a/rc, but it takes 8xEL34/C6a7's so be prepared to spend a few hundred dollars every couple years.
