No no no, not going to replace the VTLs, I like them too much and despite the comments in Stereophile regarding the Focals and tube amps, am very happy with the combination.
I should have been clearer, I am putting together a second system, of decent quality for a cabin where my family spends an awful lot of time in the summer/holiday seasons.
I am actually considering the Focal 1027Be's, the rogue MB150-180 amps, and a VTL TL5.5 pre, with a mac mini and a DAC as the entire system. The budget for this system is about 12-15K

Happiness is a clean record, and warm tubes!
