I can't imagine Rogue being their equal, - unless your new Focals really need a lot of current, - if then, - no Rogue, but a combo of tubed pre and SS power perhaps?
What is the problem that you think that the Rogue's might solve that the VTL can't?; would be my question.
And, - if it's that the speakers sound thin right now; then I'd say that you haven't given them their 3 months of required break-in time.
My opinion is that the VTL is a very good, and neutral amp(s). IF you want to color it with syrupy warmth, (assuming that your new speakers are thoroughly broken-in), then that's another matter.
